MIL-125 MOF-derived materials as adsorbents and photocatalysts

This is one of my first academic works, carried out at the University of the Balearic Islands in 2018, and the seed of what would later become my thesis.

In it I studied metal-organic frameworks of the MIL-125 type (based on titanium) and their derived materials, exploring their use as adsorbents (to capture pollutants) and as photocatalysts (to degrade them with the help of light).

Although it is an early work, it already pointed to the two ideas that have guided my whole career: MOFs as versatile materials and their application to the environment.
