Privacy policy

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD), users are informed about the processing of their personal data.

What data do we collect and for what purpose?

• Contact form: name and email, in order to respond to your enquiry or collaboration request.
• Newsletter subscription: email, in order to send you new articles and updates. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• Comments: name, email and the content of the comment, in order to manage participation in the blog.

Legal basis

The legal basis for processing is the consent of the data subject, given when submitting the form, subscribing to the newsletter or posting a comment.

Data retention

Data will be kept as long as there is a mutual interest or until the data subject requests its deletion, and for the periods legally required.

Recipients

Data is hosted on the servers of the hosting provider Hostinger. An email marketing platform may be used to send the newsletter. These providers act as data processors and will not transfer data to third parties except by legal obligation.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to neus.crespi@uib.cat, stating the right you wish to exercise. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
