    About me

    A career between academic research and industrial R&D.

    Graduate in Chemistry from the UIB with the Extraordinary Award and PhD Cum Laude in Materials Chemistry. After research stays at KU Leuven and IMDEA Energía and a period in industry (Nanomate by Phi4Tech), I currently combine research and teaching at the UIB.

      Development of hard carbon for sodium-ion batteries, within the European PERTE project alongside SEAT CUPRA.

    MOF-derived hybrid materials for the adsorption and degradation of emerging pollutants in water.

    MOF synthesis and functionalization

    Design and post-synthetic modification of metal-organic frameworks, including CVD and high-throughput synthesis.

    Devices and 3D printing

    Integration of functional materials into real devices through 3D printing and hybrid membranes.

    Materials for energy

    Hard carbon for sodium-ion batteries and proton membranes for electrochemical devices.

    My approach

    Designing a good material in the lab is not enough: from the very start, you have to think about how it will get to solve a real problem.
