Virtualization to encourage active learning in the laboratory
Besides research, I greatly enjoy teaching, and I am interested in how we learn best.
In this work, presented at the ICERI 2022 conference, we explored the use of virtualization tools to encourage active learning in practical laboratory classes.
The idea is for students to arrive better prepared and take part more consciously, using prior simulation to understand what they are going to do and why, before putting on the lab coat.
It is one of my lines within educational innovation, closely connected to my involvement in outreach conferences and the promotion of scientific vocations.
