A new problem-based learning model for chemistry

How do we stop chemistry from being seen as a list of formulas and turn it into a tool for solving real problems?

In this work, presented at the INTED 2026 conference, we propose a problem-based learning model (PBL) designed for chemistry education.

The key is to start from a concrete problem and let students build the knowledge they need to solve it, thereby joining theory with practice.

It is part of my ongoing interest in active methodologies and in improving how science is taught and learned.
